‘The Art of Repair’ is a beautifully shot film about repairing and those that do it.
While studying for her MA in Product Design at the RCA in London, Jane ni Dhulchaointigh had a bit of an idea. “I don’t want to buy new stuff all the time. I want to hack the stuff I already have so it works better for me.” She went on to invent Sugru a self-setting rubber that can be formed by hand and sets into a silicone rubber.
MENDRS aim to make mending visible, make mending political & make more menders. A research activist project by Jonnet Middleton, Beck Collins and Giuseppe Salvia. Their manifesto is as follows:
