Alan and Mattia investigated the shredder to find that the motor was still working but that the blades had rusted up and corroded. Michael walked us through the process of repairing the cover of a vintage Russian book on house keeping … The cover was removed with a stanley knife and the old glue scraped from the surface.      The book was placed in a makeshift clamp between two pieces of wood tightened with gardening wire.
