Electrifying!

We are so pleased to have an electrical expert (another Tom) joining us at the next repair cafe at Bom-Banes on Saturday 23rd March from 11am-3pm.

If you are like me and learnt to change a plug at school but can’t remember which wire goes where, come along! Tom will be on hand to help with fitting or changing plugs and fuses so bring your lamps, hair dryers, toasters or other small appliances and learn how to get them working again from a qualified electrician. 

We will also have Izzie our jewellery and sewing expert at the cafe to offer advice for repairing clothing and textiles.

Tom will be bringing tools for electrical repairs and as usual we will have a sewing machine and other implements and materials for repairing clothes, textiles and jewellery.

Come along if you’d like to learn how to repair something, or use the tools, or if you’d just like to get on with some repair projects in the company of others.
